We ordered pizza and spaghetti. The spaghetti sauce tastes like tomato sauce out of a can with no meat. They obviously wash their pasta after cooking because it's very wet and tastes like water. The New York pizza has no texture and is cut into squares. I've never had pizza from New York that is cooked and cut in squares. It was very soggy crust. I don't particularly care for soggy soft pizza. If these things seem apetizing to you you'll love this place. My family wasn't impressed for 38 dollars carry out.

I was looking for something different in this small city. So I hit up Vinny's for some pizza and got more than I bargained for. I went inside and ordered to go at the counter. The place was packed; very alive. Definitely a family friendly place, but somewhere fun to hang out with friends as well. The gentleman who took my order was patient and allowed me to figure out what I wanted. I figured I'd go with my favorite toppings, which just happened to be "Vinny's Special:" Pepperoni, Italian sausage, onions and cheese. While waiting for my pizza, I noticed all kinds of great looking food headed to dine in tables so I know there's plenty more to try. I had to make a few stops before getting my pizza home but you couldn't even tell. The pizza was still fresh and cheesy, and it tasted pretty dang good! I can tell eating inside is probably better so you can get your food fresh out of the oven. I was very impressed and made sure to keep the menu close because I know my family and I will be back to try more; especially the wings. Definitely the best pizza I've had in this city, and I'll be back for more pretty soon. Only reason why I shorted it one star is because it's definitely not NY style, but it's easy to overlook that part once you taste it.

Nothing New York really about this place or pizza. Square pan pizza. Had the pepperoni and sausage and the ingredients all lacked flavor. There was nothing good about it. Maybe good for families on a budget, but not good if you're looking for really good pizza.

Decent prices and great food! In the two weeks we've lived in SV, we've eaten here three times. The pizzas are great; had both the buffalo chicken ranch, and the BBQ bacon cheeseburger. Both were delicious. Most importantly: the crust is awesome. They said it's made in-house, and the taste definitely shines. We've also gotten the wings; the Cajun BBQ and the Medium. Again, both were great. The medium wasn't super spicy, so if you're looking for a kick, go up a notch. The Cajun BBQ was sweet with a small kick. The wings were juicy and fresh. Nothing that had been sitting around all day. A great place to feed your wing cravings! Last, we've also ordered the subs. They were awesome! Great for lunch or dinner- as they're pretty big. Overall, I'm very happy we found this place. The food is always fresh, the place is clean and the staff is helpful and quick. Definitely much better than your average pizza joint. You can tell this is a hometown favorite!

Still great wings and still fast delivery at a fraction of the cost of take out at other "wing" places. Will continue to order from them!

Really nice people! Really know their food. Hufe ckean place. Very family friendly. Will def. Be back.

I love this place! Family oriented dining, great staff, excellent food, gluten free options, and reasonable prices make this restaurant a repetitive pick when deciding where to go if we decide to eat out.

I'm going to rate this based off the pizza and wings, compared to other areas in sierra vista. This helps put my rating into perspective, I'm not rating it against all the other pizza joints in the world. This is the best pizza place in sierra vista. In sierra vista this is your best chance at eating a good pizza and laughing at your friends while they try the wing challenge. Family friendly it is a great place to relax and eat with friends as well.

Best wings in Arizona! I've been going to Vinny's for over 14 years and their wings are still the best. Crispy and great flavor. This is a must when in Sierra Vista. I drive an hour in a half just to eat these mouthwatering wings. The pizza is ok but that's not what I go for so I'm fine with that. A comfortable little spot for all group sizes. My favorite are the hot and cajan bbq wings.

5 Stars for Best Buffalo Hot Wings I've ever tasted! Pizza is so-so, my advice would be to skip the pizza and save room for the Wings. Also expect a couple minutes of wait time as there is usually a line, especially around lunch and dinner times. A Must Try when anywhere near Sierra Vista or craving wings

love this place especially the wings yum!

  • Daniel L.

The pizza wasnt as good as I was expecting for it to be, could have got a better slice at any major chain pizza. The wings were on point though. We got hot buffalo and the sauce was good and the meat on the wings had great flavor.

  • M A.

The wings and the customer service were excellent! I ordered 20 wings and split the order with two flavors(Cajun BBQ and gold and tangy). I was going to order beer but didn't see one I wanted and they offered me a sample of amberbock and it was good. The wings were great, not huge but very flavorful and the beer was on point. I will come back!

I love the atmosphere and enjoy the local pizza. Wings are good too. I come hear every Friday night to wind down from the work week. The staff is always friendly and my food is always out in 15 minutes. I order the small Vinny special with no banana bell peppers that way I can have an onion, sausage, and pepperoni pizza without having to order a custom pizza, i.e.. $$$$. Small Vinny special and a cherry coke with tax costs me $15.63. I always get a booth on Fridays and never have to worry about not having a table. Sometimes it's busy and other times it's pretty slow, but either way I always find that I'm able to relax and enjoy a good pizza to set the weekend right. I would say that Vinny's isn't the best place to order things other than wings and pizza. Sometimes I order their pasta fagioli soup and it's great other times it's exceptionally bland. I take the chance knowing that that might happen, but I never go wrong with some wings and pizza. Anyway, Vinny's is great for some good food and if you are looking for that good ol' local hospitality.

I was anxious to try this place on my vacation to tombstone, az. I got a gift certificate on restaurant.com . My wife, son and I ordered two pizzas, wings and a chicken parm sandwich. Okay, the pizzas are very tasty. One was Philly cheesesteak, the other was basil pesto. Both pizzas were great. The topping were all fresh with the exception of the meat. It was frozen, but kudos to Vinny's for choosing a very delicious, seasoned meat. Was far better than any other company that uses a frozen meat (I.e. Most). The wings were very hot but very good. They boast about their wings. The chicken parm sub was okay. It seemed like frozen chicken heated up in the microwave with a jar sauce on it. They did add some seasoning to make it a little better. Overall, highly recommend if you find yourself wanting great pizza in a off the path location. The crust is also made fresh and cooked to perfection. Bravo!!

Friendly staff and great food! 2 Cheesy bread, Large Pepperoni, 20 wings, and Large pitcher of Coke under $40! The furniture and place is dated, but who cares if the price and food is good.

Vinny's is the standard for pizza and wings in Sierra Vista. Well even Cochise County! Even though the choices are slim to choose from in the area, I am happy that there is an establishment such as Vinny's to accommodate the cravings of New York style pizza and authentic Buffalo wings. Round pizzas are small, Large pizzas are square. Wings are crispy and tasty and are offered in a variety of flavors to choose from, including mild, hot, extra hot, suicidal hot (which gets a Polaroid of your likeness on the wall of fame) BBQ, Gold & Tangy and others. Celery and carrots are included along with ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Additional food options are sandwiches, both hot and cold, that span the usual turkey or ham or beef or all the above to capicola and hot offerings such as eggplant parmesan, chicken parmesan or meatball on white sub rolls dressed just how you like. Also available are beers on tap, self-serve sodas and speciality pizzas. Consistent, tasty, a good place for the family, large group, or gathering, and a place you're likely to see someone you know, Vinny's fits the bill for a local eatery that deserves your patronization. For years Vinny has supported the local community as well as local charities, and that continues today, even though Vinny is no longer with us - and that is reason alone to support this great business! When you think pizza, beer, wings, or sandwiches for lunch, dinner or take-out, think of Vinny's Pizza. Final Rating: 4 Stars Quality: 4.3 Stars Service: 4.2 Stars Cleanliness: 4 Stars Value: 4 Stars This is a great place to eat, visit with friends and family, and enjoy two properly made foods in a relaxed setting with a bit of character.

It's not the same any longer and I am truly sorry to say that. I went there the other evening and was sorely disappointed. I ordered a Margherita Pizza for myself and it had canned tomatoes on it. That is unheard of. Scant amount of mozzarella. The crust was not up to it's usual standards. My husband had a pepperoni pizza and he was also disappointed in the crust. Sad.

Four of is came to dine. Two of is ordered ravioli and it was brought to our table in metal to go plates. 20 MINUTES later the rest of our party got their food. Ravioli was undercooked and tasteless. Pizza was ok. Nothing wonderful. Very disappointed.

    (1)
  • Kelly R.

The pizza has been pretty good, but I've had it undercooked twice now. Since it was square cut, it got really difficult to eat. It was so doughy and greasy that we tossed half of it. Went for lunch before a movie and my fiance and I shared an order of wings and each got a sub (we were having trouble deciding lol). The wings were decent but the meatball and chicken parmesan subs were just not good. And we've also had mixed experiences with the employees. The first guy taking our order was really nice and patient while we decided. He let us know to grab our own refills (since the drinks were kind of set up past the front counter). As we left though, my fiance asked the lady at the front if they had any wet wipes since we just ate some really messy food. She just looked at us and seemed confused/annoyed. We both just waited for her to respond. She finally said, we have a bathroom... with soap. Like she was stunned we would ask for wet wipes. We can't possibly be the only ones to have ever asked for them. And the whole point is that those are more convenient than going to the restroom. WTF?

  • Knight R.

Vinny's definitely has the BEST wings in town. No other place even comes close. Their pizza is better than the fast-pizza places like Dominoes and Pizza Hut, but not the greatest I have ever had. I can't really comment on their other items because I only ever order wings and pizza. The staff is always very friendly and service has always been very speedy. There are long lines at times, but when they are serving the best wings in town you sort of have to expect other people are going to want them too.

  • Kursten O.

We came to Vinny's on the advice of Yelp and we were very impressed. From the man at the counter who took our order to the efficiency and delicousness of our food, Yelp steered us in the right direction. We also really appreciated that they have pool tables they allow children to use. My husband and I kind of got a quiet dinner :) For dinner we ordered 2 side salads (fresh, cold lettuce and good toppings) and pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked, had plenty of toppings, and the sauce was just right. Mmmmm....

  • Robert Z.

Ok first of all this is not New York Pizza .... Not even close! Maybe frozen pizza at best! Enjoy a salad with a pre-packaged container of the worst salad dressing known to mankind! Then service without a smile... I guess that's what makes it sort of feel like New York. If you're going to give a New York attitude, at least have the food to back it up!

    (1)
  • Tracy E.

If you go in and sit down and eat, the food is really good. However, if you get it delivered (literally across the street) it is cold, obviously old and when you call and ask to speak to the manager, they hang up on you. Never again.

  • Payten R.

Everytime I come here, its perfect pizza, beyond perfect wings, and perfect service. I love the atmosphere, the people, the food, and it feels so homey. Every bite is worth the money and I come here as much as I can! Keep up the amazing work Vinny's!!

    (5)
  • E E.

Definitely go for the wings! Yummy!!! Sad to say, the pizza was overrated and had a soggy center for the crust...what a disappointment. We will be back for more wings next time we're in SV!

  • Malikah M.

Great pizza and a large can feed a lot of people. Just the right amount of grease and the flavor is amazing. The hot wings have a bit of a hot yet sweet taste and it's worth every bite!

We arrived here in January and wanted Pizza one night. We looked on Yelp and found Vinny's New York Pizza. We checked to see what the reviews revealed. I swear these reviews must have been written by Vinny's sisters, mother, brothers and cousins. Granted, I am from New York and have been to Chicago and have dined on some of the best pizza in the world. Well, at least from my perspective. In my opinion, this is Vinny's Arizona Pizza. This is not New York Pizza, even on a good day. I see that a few reviews mention the "tinny" metal can type taste the tomato sauce reveals. It's true! It's something that you can't cover up. Without having great sauce, it kind of ruins the rest of the pizza for sure. I have noticed that this place seems packed on some nights and weekends. This review won't destroy the public following it has now but I wanted to shed some light and those visiting the place for the first time not to have too high of expectations. Our family will probably won't be back. Well unless we happen to go without food for a week and it's the only choice we have. Then probably cardboard would taste great. Just don't add Vinny's tomato sauce!

    (1)
  • Jamie I.

Pizza is really yummy. The wings are a hit and miss. Sometimes they are perfect other times they are over cooked and dry. Either way my fam loves this place! Yum:)

If you're goal is to stray from the everyday pizza chain, Vinny's might be your best option in Sierra Vista. Their pizza is ok - not great. Their wings are probably their best feature - pretty sizable, I recommend the Gold 'n Tangy sauce for sure. There's also a wing challenge featuring their hottest sauce (which is so hot it's not worth it at all). Buffalo Wild Wings are better, but if you want pizza and wings, go with Vinny's. Here is why I give them three stars: 1) You have to pay in cash if you want delivery. 2) Toppings on half the pizza cost the same as getting toppings all over. So if you order 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 mushrooms, you will be charged for two toppings. I find that ridiculous. Aside from that, it's decent. Definately the kind of place to take the kiddies out for a sit-down, family-friendly lunch or dinner. I'd also recommend it for group events or work-related get-togethers. They serve beer, and they also have subs and some italian-type dinners. The staff is very friendly. Believe it or not, my husband and I prefer Domino's Pizza. Never thought I'd say that, but they've really upped their game.

Had dinner there for the first time for a fundraiser and loved it....they even had great options for my toddler...awesome service considering how busy they were and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

    Gold n Tangy. You're Welcome.

  • Mari J.

No offense but the pizza served now is very different from a few years ago - and not in a good way. Too much dough for crust and very bland sauce. Hope they step up soon. Will try again next year.

    (2)
  • R L.

I really enjoyed their pizza and casual atmosphere (pool tables). Hubby and I also liked the wings but neither one of us thought the hot sauce was truly hot in our experience. We'll be back!

I'd say this place is nom nom good :) Well, personally I am not a pizza person, but my husband really wanted to try out this place due to hearing so much great things about it from other people. One night we and another couple came together to try it. For under $20 we were able to get buffalo wings and a small pizza that filled up two people!! We got the chicken bacon pizza to try and medium hot wings. It was noms! Second time we came back, because I was craving for something greasy...the next week! This time we tried the Mediterranean Chicken pizza, and although it was slightly more expensive, I believe I have found my FAVORITE pizza of this place! I am glad that we didn't have to drive far for a good hand made pizza under $20! The services here were also wonderful. Everyone was very well mannered and efficient. Definitely worth a try! :)

  • B C.

Love their chicken strips! Num! Pizza is good but if you eat it there, it gets kinda soggy if you deliver or take out. Wings are good too. It's definitely a great pizza place!

  • Jeff B.

This pizza isn't too bad for being in southeastern Arizona. We always get the large (silician style) cheese because like someone else wrote, the toppings are a bit pricey, plus we make up our own toppings at home that are way better/more fresh. Take out is easy and usually runs you between a 20-25 minute wait on a Friday/Saturday, which isn't too bad. Wings, yeah they are pretty darn good. Saucy with a side of blue cheese or ranch, you can't go wrong there. We haven't wandered off the path of pizza and wings, but eventually we will and I will post on it. Other than that, it's not a bad joint. It's not the pies we are used to back home, but it does the job for being here.

This is a place, when I am not abroad, the Family and I go almost weekly. There are so many good things to say about this place. Wings, Pizza, Pasta, Pool tables, 3 Draft beers with Pitchers! The atmosphere is awesome, customer service is always wonderful. Everyone behind the counter is always happy and you know what, it makes me happy walking in and giving my order. Ok, now we always get 10-20 wings, hot and cajun bbq, plus a pizza and pastas for the kids. We can walk out of Vinny's, two adults and three kids stuffed for around $30 without beer, $40 with :). Their Pizza is great. Perfect combo sauce to topping ration going for them. Normally we get a Large bacon pizza unless the wife is feeling vegi. They pay special attention to their pies making sure each slice has a good amount of toppings. The wings are always full of flavor, I prefer the Hot and Cajun BBQ but the others are great. I haven't tried the Homicidal but there is a Challenge to get your picture on their wall. Pasta is always amazing and priced very well. Normally we will grab a baked ziti or Chicken Parmesan and the kids will devour it. It's a unique establishment with Pool tables and an Owner who walks the floor a few nights a week to see how his customers are doing. Tuesday is Wing night and Wednesday you can get a 20 wing and Pizza deal.

Good food at good prices, good service. We come for the wings! 50c boneless, 45c regular on Tuesdays (dine in only). Love the BBQ wing sauce, though lots say Gold'n Tangy is best. Love the wings so much we haven't actually tried any other menu items. Maybe some day. ;)

There are not too many good food options in this small town so Vinny's is definitely a place to appreciate. I stopped in to pick up some wings for the bf and friends and decided on giving the pizza a try. I had single slice and drink lunch special. 30 wings, a slice and drink cost me about $20. Pretty affordable right there. The pizza slice was rectangular shaped. It came with cheese and pepperoni. I'd say it was pretty decent. Nothing remarkable in my book. I'm usually a fan on thin crust pizzas, though. But it wasn't bad. I got 3 flavors of wings to share: Golden, Chile Lime, and Medium. They all came out looking the same but tasted different. The golden ones remind me of Zipps or Oreganos (phx chains) golden style wings which I enjoyed a lot as those are my two favorite kind of restaurant wings. Chile lime reminded me of lucas. It was Citrusy with mild spice. Also, tasty. Medium was standard hot wings. Good as well. And the big plus of this place.... they have Cherry coke in the fountain. =)

Pizza + wings + beer + pasta = a winning combination. Everything is made in house... including the chopped garlic on their garlic bread. The guy behind the counter patiently answered all of my questions and provided suggestions. Pizza and wings are great! I love the pastas though. Baked ziti and spaghetti put Sbarro's to shame! Lots of tables in a large space. There's a pool table in the back. Kid friendly. I'm not sure what else to say to convince you. Check it out and fall in love with Vinny's yourself. Get the $20 for 20 wings and a large pizza special.

Consider this review the beginning of a plea. I know Yelp has not really caught on in Sierra Vista, nor would I really expect it to in a community as small as this, but I'm going to do my part to get the message out. Why? Because we need to support our local restaurants! This whole town is so addicted to the mass produced fare coming out of places like Chili's and Applebee's that they are missing some truly excellent dining opportunities. So over the next couple months, I will be visiting as many local restaurants as my wife and I can afford, and adding the reviews to Yelp. Leave the Outback behind and try something else for a change! This weekend my wife and I were in the mood for a pizza, so we hit the best place in town for it. No, not the Pizza Hut, we're talking Vinny's NY Pizza. Service: 4/5 The service at Vinny's is a bit of a "hybrid." There aren't waiters per say. You order at the counter and then are given a number. But you don't have to go get your food, it is brought by servers to your table. They will also do minor things for you like bring extra silverware or some Parmesan cheese. It is not full service though. I'm totally fine with this as there are times I don't want a waiter hovering over me the whole evening, and the service fits the casual vibe that Vinny's caters to. I do deduct one point for the way they handle drinks though. I just think it is awkward and would benefit from a change. Refills on soda and water are free, but the dispenser is behind the counter, and it is "self-serve." So you as a customer have to go behind the counter and refill your own drinks. Like I said, it is just awkward. If you are going to offer self-serve free refills, just move the soda dispenser into the dining area and let customers do it themselves. Having it behind the counter invites difficulties that I don't think are necessary. Food: 5/5 I've been to Vinny's many times in the years I have lived in Sierra Vista and I have never had a bad meal here. Pizza is the name of the game here and they do it well. They cover all the typical toppings and combinations and even have a few unique ones of their own. The pizza is New York style, meaning the crust is on the thin side. Having never been to New York myself, I cannot comment on the "authenticity," but I can tell you it's damn good pizza. Chicken wings are the other thing Vinny's is mostly known for. I am not the biggest fan of wings, but what I have had at Vinny's is good. They have their "Wall of Flame" for folks brave enough to eat some of their hottest ones. Again, not my cup of tea, but being a military town, there are plenty of brave men and women around who enjoy the challenge. Vinny's also offers a selection of sandwiches and pasta dishes. The sandwiches are excellent, and the pasta dishes are acceptable. The pasta won't "wow" you, but they have good flavor and are appropriately priced. I am especially fond of the spinach ravioli. So there are other things on the menu if you aren't in the mood for pizza. Overall Impressions: 5/5 Vinny's is a casual restaurant and the atmosphere promotes that. There is a juke box and a couple of pool tables. They do serve beer and wine as well. I wouldn't call Vinny's a "bar" by any means, but it does have some aspects that suggest a more social atmosphere than a typical restaurant might. So the next time you have a pizza craving in Sierra Vista, resist the urge to call Domino's. Tell Papa John to take a hike. And avoid Pizza the Hut. Vinny's is the place you want to go. You'll be glad that you did.

Great Food! Best wings in Sierra Vista. There are better places in town for pizza but for wings, this place is great. I also love that when you need more soda you can just go behind the counter and grab more. The place is usually busy so it's nice that the staff makes everyone feel comfortable.

This is a great place for groups. I went here for a work lunch saying good bye to some of our coworkers and aside from our food all coming out at different times it was pretty much perfect. We all ordered separately and they brought our food out to the tables - which avoided the annoyance of splitting a check between 15 people. They also had no problem with us bringing in cake and decorations. On to the food - it was pretty good! I split a pizza and salad with a coworker and we both thought everything tasted good. I also snagged a few gold and tangy wings from someone else which were awesome. Apparently if you order a pizza you get 20 wings for the price of ten - good to know if you're going in with a friend or are super hungry! They also have a gluten free pizza crust option though if you're celiac I would stay away because I think their sauce contains some form of gluten and there would probably be cross contamination anyways but still a great thing to offer! I'd be curious what their ingredients are. I can't say I'll be heading here often but I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for a group event!

Garlic bread was excellent!!! Wings are delicious and so is pizza. Quick place to eat and you get the family-run feel right when you walk in. Loved it and will come back

I wish I still lived in SV for this place alone. Best wings anywhere in AZ. No place in Tucson can compete. Never get tired of them and they make some really hot flavors. Pizza is different than you're used to but also good. I get Vinny's whenever I come back to visit. You're best bet is to eat in or carry out due to the fact that there's only one location to serve the area and delivery can be lengthy.

  • Lozana C.

Thank you Vinny's for having such awesome food. I am gluten intolerant and you have the perfect solution to that problem. Your staff is friendly, understanding and they know your menu inside and out. I have had your GF pizza 3 times and only recently discovered that your wings are also GF. We had said goodbye to Dominos because you are the BEST!

Vinny's hot wings are so good that I named my dog after the place. (He's the black and white guy in the picture.) I've had hot and everything above the hot rating. I was prepping myself to take the Vinny's hot wing challenge and be put up on their wall of fame (in their old location). However, I moved away and I have never (I MEAN ever) had another hot wing that tasted so good. I miss it. I don't know anything else about their food (i.e. pizza), but the wings are enough to make you happy. I swear.

Best wings in Sierra Vista.. and probably the entire state of Arizona. Vinny's gets it right. Excellent pizza, great wings, good ambience.... Vinny's plays for keeps. The only down side (if you really think this is a down side) is they ask you to step behind the counter to get your own refills... which feels a bit awkward to a lot of people when you first start going there. If you're in the mood for a pitcher and a pie tonight, this is your place, hands down. Put a TV in, a big one, so we can watch baseball, and I'd eat here a heck of a lot more often.

Best wings in the world. I come here every time I come home to visit and the prices for the wings are unbeatable. Get them extra crispy!

Best known for their Buffalo/Hot wings, Vinny's wasn't the place for me. I didn't order Vinnie's wings, instead I had a craving for some pizza and I wanted to try the local digs around town. So I looked up pizzerias around SV and decided on this place. I ordered a large cheese, sausage, and pepperoni pizza and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I came to pick it up I noticed the pizza box was heavy. I got it back home and opened it up and what I saw looked pretty gross. The pizza was drenched in grease and the "sausage" looked nothing like sausage. Instead it looked like wet dog food smothered over the top of the pizza and the taste is what I would equate to it, never having had eaten wet dog food before. Before eating it, I had to grab some paper towels and soak up as much grease as I could. The two heavy duty papertowels were completely drenched in grease by the time I threw them away. I had a piece and a half and had to throw the rest away. I was pretty disgusted and wont be ordering pizza from Vinny's again. I may give their wings a chance since I've had a couple people tell me their really good.

I've lived here for over 20 years, and this is still one of my favorite local pizza joints! Pretty good pizza, great wings, great atmosphere! If you love hot wings, you gotta try the Vinny's Homicidal Wing challenge! Just remember, definantly don't touch your junk (or rub your eyes) afterwards without washing your hands really good before going to the bathroom there...lol

Came for lunch with my husband. He ordered wings, I ordered spinach ravioli with pesto sauce. We also got a slice of peperoni pizza to split- just to try it. The wings are a solid 5 stars. Crispy on the outside, not too much sauce, very good flavor. My ravioli came out cold the first time, but they remade it with no complaint at all. The pesto had a good flavor but there was too much of it, and it was a really strange saturated green color. The pizza was pretty tasty. the crust was good and the sauce had good flavor. Atmosphere is really casual. Service was friendly. What they could benefit from is making a house ranch dressing instead of pre packaged cups of ranch. All in all, I would go back.

Decent to good wings, but it isn't real pizza they are serving sorry!!!! I guess you wouldn know the difference if you were raised around here.

Good pizza, good wings, reasonable prices and good service. As far as pizza in the area, this is definitely the best choice. It's not New York pizza, by any means, but it's good! The place itself is extremely casual- picnic table style. They deliver and takeout is nice and easy!

They call this NY pizza but this is no NY pizza! I lived in Manhattan for years and as far as I know NY pizza is thin and light. The dough here is thick and doughy. The sauce was straight from a can, chunky like peeled tomatoes from a freaking can. I was really looking forward to a good independent pizzeria in Sierra Vista but I guess I'll have to travel to Tucson for original homemade pie.

The wings are the best in town, putting BWW to shame but the last two visits were disappointing. The wings were still great but a 45 minute wait is ridiculous. "Sorry we got slammed all of a sudden," is not an excuse. This place has been in business for decades. I understand the original owner is no longer with us but could the new manager step up? The Italian sausage sandwich is good as well as the pizza but serving the wings as a dessert is uncalled for. You should be able to anticipate the crowds and demand by now.

3.5 stars -- the best wings in Sierra Vista. Ok pizza. The owner is originally from Buffalo, NY, so he brings some requisite knowledge of wings that is desperately needed in this corner of the United States. The wings are the best in the area, putting all comers to shame. Sadly, most people in Sierra Vista opt for Buffalo Wild wings -- so that should tell you all you need to know about overall food quality in the area. Let me be clear -- the wings are great for Sierra Vista, but they wouldn't hold a candle to anything you could get in Buffalo or Rochester, NY. The pizza is ok -- but being from NY, isn't up to my standards. They only do two sizes -- medium and large, the latter of which comes as a sheet as opposed to fold-able triangle slices. The cheese is standard pizza fare (no buffalo mozzarella here) and the sauce is actually alright. But the dough -- that's where they loose me. I'd prefer it to be thinner and a bit more cooked. But, that's what you get when you use a conveyor belt oven to cook pizza -- yep, the same way Dominos reheats there "pizza." Also, please note that they do NOT take credit cards on delivery orders -- i.e. they only will deliver if you pay in cash. Go for the wings. If you want pizza, drive to Magpies in Tucson or fly back to NY.

YUM!!!!!! They're wings are EXCELLENT and their pizza is just as delicious!!! My family and I have eaten here several times and taken those visiting us as well. This is NOT NYC style pizza, so if that's what you're expecting, you'll probably be disappointed. The crust isn't super thin or super thick. Their toppings on the pizza are high quality. We haven't ever had any problems. Refills on drinks you get yourself and I felt like I was intruding on their workspace since the machine is right behind the counter.

So this place and I are lucky that I'm staying in a nearby hotel for a while and I will be frequent this place a few more times. I see that the reviews have pretty much got the wings covered (FYI- Vinny is originally from Buffalo, NY) and I did give the Gold-n-Tangy's a whirl, they were alright, but I'm more of a pizza guy... So stopping in for lunch one day, I was concerned by the barren outside, save for the weathered statue of liberty, one thing I could recommend would be a little more flair outside? (though eating around here more and more, I feel like that's a trend in SV?) I got some wings, and the square pepperoni slice, not bad, not mind blowing, but certainly satisfied the craving. While enjoying the wings I looked over the menu and a number of the specialty pizzas piqued my interest, so I decided to snag a few smalls for dinner the next day. Being a pesto fan, I had to try theirs- very good, and the provolone adds some "meat" to the cheese. Speaking of meat, being a bacon fan I also ordered the ranch pizza, something about the taste of it reminded me of breakfast, with peppers and fresh tomatoes to round out the creamy concoction, I enjoyed that one too. I plan to try a few of the whites they have, as well as the Huli Huli Chicken... only thing was I was kinda sad that the smalls come round, not square. I wouldn't call it NYC pizza (very thin and crispy), but more of the upstate NY kind (a little thicker, but not like Pizza Hut, Chicago style, etc). I also really like/appreciate all the awards and photos posted throughout showing the commitment to community involvement. Lots of families around when I went in to pick up my order, and a few occupied pool tables, seems like a cool quiet place to hang out.

Best wings around Cochise County! not kidding... I would go anytime for wings and the classic "white pizza" ..... service is ok, place is not the ultimate, but willing to sacrifice for the good product. Family place and not to expensive. thumbs up for Wings and White Pizza !

I remember when this place opened over 20 years ago. Wings wings just " what the hell is a buffalo wing ". Always loved the pizza and "Vinny" regularly was iN the place workin. Food is AWESOME. grew up in Sorry Vista and moved to Tucson. still cruise through when goin to see familia in Douglas. Always stop at Vinny's. Just a little story, once my dad and I were on our way home and stopped to pick up a pizza at Vinny's. My dad realized when paying that he didn't have any checks left. " yes it was a while ago". Vinny knew us cause we were always in there. He told us to take the pizza and pay him later. Who does that. Great food, great owner, pool tables, beer, what else do ya need in a pizza joint. Y'all better give this a try. Palma out.

Ok after trying to give Vinny's one last chance...I went back the wings have went down hill, the salad ugh, and the two pizza's just were getting it..guess its the frozen part of the pizza preparation that just didn't right...and not to mention after 45 dollars being spent still had to pay .50 cent a piece for two more ranch dressings (in a cup)...I'm done with Vinny's ..

GASP! no one has written a review for vinnys? *sigh* i'm gonna have to let ppl in SV know about yelp. so, here's the deal with vinnys. its a pretty decent place. the pizzas are big and rectangular, which makes it FEEL so much different from the pizzas you get from a chain like dominos or pizza hut. they are pretty famous in SV for the wings...if you eat like, 20 or something of their suicidal wings, you get a t-shirt and your picture on the wall. i am trying to convince my hubby to do it. it can't be THAT hard, right? the pizza is tasty, the sandwiches are great (i LOVE the chicken parmesan), the motzarella sticks/fried ravioli are bomb and the wings are decent. i'm semi-jaded on the wings...i had a bad experience. but my baby bro can put them away like no ones business. to each his own. overall...pretty decent place. something for everyone.

Vinny's is yum, especially for lunch, it's a little dive-y, but they have an inexpensive lunch special where you can have a slice of pepperoni pizza and a soda for just a couple of bucks. Their wings are nice and crisp-no crazy sauces, just different levels of spicy/hotness/deliciousness. They also have a variety of sandwiches, calzones, and salads and other Italian dishes. They are pretty inexpensive and quick too.

Hands-down the best pizza place in Sierra Vista. Their wings are fantastic too - way better than BW3's or anywhere else. The prices are pretty good - it's a pretty lax environment - great place to just hand out and get pizza, wings, and beer. I will be frequenting this place for sure.

Pros: 10 cent wings on Tuesdays. Upbeat cashiers. Personnel sized pizza can feed 4 people. Great place for informal group gathering, but remember to RSVP beforehand. Cons: N/A

This place has the best wings in Sierra Vista and some pretty good pizza too. If you dine in, the pool tables are fun as well as some beer to go along with the meal.

This place is awesome!!! The pizza was great, the wings were excellent and most important the beer was cheap. That just put a huge smile on my face! I would go back in a heart beat!

The wings are pretty good. I'd say they're easily the best in Sierra Vista by far. I've been coming to this place for years and it's been pretty consistent. I did have a white pizza from there and it was really good. Can't go wrong with their pizzas either. They aren't gourmet by any means, but it's good enough for me!

The pizza is good, but the wings are great. Friendly staff, good prices and delicious food. They had a decent beer selection as well, and the price per pitcher wasn't bad. I love this place and used to go here with my friends at least once a week when I was living in the Sierra Vista area. I will definitely be going back for a visit the next time I am out there. I would recommend Vinny's to anyone.

Such a let down. I'd been craving wings and missing the vast food options back East when I Yelped this place. They deserve 2 stars for the quality of their food but due to lack of local options I bumped it up one. I ordered 10 wings and a small pizza. Went on a Friday night and the line was literally to the door, and moving at a snail's pace. You'd think they would get the hang of a crowd by now but apparently not. After ordering to-go and waiting 40 minutes for my order...yes, 40 minutes...the wings were dry and crusty looking. The guy behing the counter assured me they had ONLY sat for 10 minutes in their box. The cup of sauce I angrily requested on the side was tasty, but nothing you couldn't buy in a bottle from the grocery store. Next was the pizza. The small is a good size, but the toppings were diced to small I could barely taste them (aside from the pepperoni). Kids were running around the pool tables, and throwing little rubber balls everywhere. I will likely return in my next 3 months here but purely out of desperation. To end on a positive note: the older guy who took my order was very pleasant.

They have come up with some awesome concoctions (sauce-wise). Wings and pizzas simply delicious... Don't order the pasta though...

Ordered a delivery to a nearby hotel...CASH only....Only 5 minutes from the restaurant but the Pizza arrived COLD...and it was over an hour wait on a Tuesday night, when quoted 45 minutes

Are Sierra Vistans crazy? This place deserves at least four stars and maybe even five. Best wings I have ever had, and there are no words that can describe the pizza. To top it off, the service is fast and always friendly. Yelpers are eating at Vinnie's and inexplicably rating them 2 stars because the waiter forgot to give them an extra plate or something, meanwhile hundreds of miles away I dream of Vinnie's but cannot satisfy my craving because I am not local.... Oh Yelp why do you tease me so.....

I had to come and write a review when I saw the 1- and 3-star reviews from others. I grew up in Sierra Vista and have been going to Vinny's since it was at the old location on Fry Blvd. I have family in SV and I literally make a pilgrimage to Vinny's every time I come back into town to visit. I go twice if I can get away with it. I might be biased because I grew up eating and loving this stuff, but the pizza at Vinny's is the best in Sierra Vista and the hot wings are the best I have had ANYwhere that I've eaten hot wings. One spot in Phoenix (a placed called Long Wong's) is the only place that even came close, and it was still a distant second. I never get anything but a large cheese pizza and 10 or 20 hot wings. I've heard that some of the other wing flavors are good, but I'm not interested in trying anything else. Vinny has added a lot of items to the menu over the years - subs, gourmet pizzas, pasta - but I stick with cheese or pepperoni pizza and hot wings and I have never been disappointed. EDIT: Also, rest in peace Vinny. You will be missed.

Well let's see third attempt to order food here because each time I thought to try it out they were already closed. I had read some decent reviews about this place and I wanted to give it a try. So this time we called in before it got too late & boy was I ever glad we did because the wings here are Awesome!! We ordered pizza and wings but I was so in love with the wings that I dont remeber much about the pizza. If your looking for some decent wings then look no further, these are the best in town!

love the pizza here! The only negative thing I have to say is that many of the chairs/booths need to be replaced. The cushions/springs are flat, so I sit down lower and feel like a little kid at the table. Otherwise, we love the casual environment and fast service!

Disappointing. Service sucked. Between the guy who took our order and the guy who placed the pizza on the table, no one spoke a single nice word or smiled. I did order a cheese-less pizza which can easily be screwed up - and it was. But even the garlic bread was awful. How do you screw up garlic bread you ask? Boring bland white bread with way too much butter and not enough garlic. My mom had a salad that looked pathetic. I wouldn' t recommend this place to anyone.

I'm originally from Brooklyn, so I rarely pass on the opportunity to sample a self-styled New York Pizzeria. It was difficult for us, visiting Sierra Vista, to find. Frontage Road coming off 92 was not clearly marked. The description, from people at the hotel as well as the staff at the restaurant, was along the lines of "closest to NY pizza you'll find here" which is not necessarily much of an endorsement. We ordered a large, and what they brought to the table was a Sicilian pizza (rectangular) rather than the round Neapolitan, cut into the rounded triangular wedges. Not being much of a Sicilian Pizza fan, I didn't have enough data to compare to NY Pizza, though it was tasty enough. Also nice to baked ziti on the menu, and while the sauce was good, the cheese wasn't melted enough into the pasta.

This place is good if you want to get with a large group, but not much else. The pizza is very greasy - not New-York style at all - and the rest of the food is bland. The only real good things are the wings. Despite the food, the servers have always been very polite and the staff is professional.

When I went to Vinnie's, I was with someone from New York, Texas, and California. They all thought the food was great! Vinnie's is so yummy. For $40, we got a large pizza with 1 topping (Italian Sausage) and 50 wings (half Gold n Tangy and half Cajun BBQ). The pizza was good by itself. Nice size crust. Good amount of toppings, cheese and sauce. Solid. The wings were pretty damn good. Quite possibly better than anywhere else I have tried. Some liked Cajun BBQ, but I was in love with Gold n Tangy. I would definitely recommend this place. They also a challenge where you get a free tshirt and your picture on the wall if you eat 20 homicidal wings. The cashier let us try some of the homicidal sauce...wowee that's hot! Oh yes, and the guys working there are sooo Nice and Helpful!! I felt happy here. Great environment and food. Beer is served here also.
